Very pleased, simple to install and satisfying to use.
The rail comes in 3 parts which connect together at the coach screw locations, easy enough to cut down to length with a hacksaw if its too long for your chosen location. If you take a little time to ensure you get the rail straight and level, it works really smoothly and so light to move the door. The guide for the bottom of the door keeps it from swinging and is hardly seen. I routed a grove into the bottom of the door stopping short of both ends which keeps it nicely hidden.
As other reviewers have mentioned the wooden dowels are an odd choice to include, if you have masonry walls i'd opt for 10mm plus for the bolts as it will be much stronger. The wall I hung my door on was studwork wall, I managed to locate some of the coach screws into the studs, 2 needed to be fixed between the studs. I tried using plasterboard fixings, but they simply wouldn't grip the plasterboard enough to allow you to drive in the coach screws. So i ended up putting some blocking into the wall, by cutting a hole in the plaster board from the otherside, only took about an hour to do and make good.
I've already recommended this product to friends as it is really rather good.

This is a 6mm toughened glass door so is heavy but no problem for the Stainless Steel Sliding Barn Door Hardware Kit CCJH. Smooth glide and easy to install. Its been outside for 4months and no rust developing
I just cut a piece of the shoe off for it to fit and was able to make it work that way. Awesome for the price and adjusts to fit perfectly
It was well made and thankful easy to figure out how to assemble. Directions were poor as well as mounting system. I used different drywall anchors. I would use this again.

This sliding barn door system is ideal for small places. It is one rail, two doors. We used 42" doors to cover the opening. Good quality and all features as promised in the description. Recomended.
I must say that I was a little bit nervous before installing this thinking that it was going to be complicated. Thankfully I was wrong it was super easy to put together and everything ended up aligned and perfect. Looks great at the same time.
I remodeled the walk-in closet by removing the door which was blocking access to cloth racks, removed the old rack hangers, fixed the wall, painted them and then build a new cabinet system with top lighting. I bought a couple different models of these rollers and decided to keep this particular one for the following reasons:
1. Can be made to fit the specific width of my barn door. Other models were based on a bigger wheel that could slide in and outward over a fixed rail. This model does not stick out further and I liked that (less of a trip hazzard)
2. Smaller wheel size looks better then some of the wheels of competitor products that had twice the wheel diameter.
3. It rolls smoothly and has held up for many weeks of usage by now.
I wish my barn door was just a few inches wider but I had limited space to work with. Overall I really like this roller and it is still going strong.
