I needed my sliding barn door to stop exactly on a location that the stops that came with the kit wouldn't allow, specifically bc the bolts got in the way of the doorstops. This doorstop was designed to slide OVER the bolts, or in my case, sit over the bolts. It worked perfectly, is super high quality and makes the door operating incredibly smooth. Very happy with purchase.

Needed a center stop over a through the rail bolt. No need to remove 40mm rail, just loosened the allen wrench screws, and it was even clear of the bolt. Tightened the screws just fine. The plunger also gives it some width variation in this case, might cause a little bounce back, door is heavy enough and basically absorbs the "shock", such as it may be called.

The stopper that came with my hardware got stuck on the end and wouldn't slide any farther. I didn't think it mattered since it was against a corner, but the door banged into the corner and slid so far it came past the guide on the floor. I needed a stopper that could be added after installing the hardware and this one fit the bill! It was so easy to put on and works really nicely.

This door stopper solved a serious problem we had with the poor quality barn door hardware that came with our Continental Glass Barn Door we purchased from Wayfair. The door installed perfectly until it came to putting up the stopper hardware, both broke upon installation. A replacement were sent but the set screw was frozen and could not be used. I found this on Amazon and it worked like a charm. It was the perfect solution to our problem.
