How to Choose Track Size?
Single Door Min Track Size= 2 times door panel Width
Example: for a 24"/2FT door panel, you need a 48"/4FT track kit at least.
Tip: If has enough space, you can also choose a longer track.
You will need 3-1/2" clearance from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding, if any) for this kit to fit correctly.
Fit for cabinet door panel thickness: 4/5" to 1-1/8".
This mini hardware kit can hold cabinet door weight 100lbs.
The gap between door and cabinet is 3/8" based on 1" thick door.
To help you choose the fit kit, we recommend the track length shoulde be twice of the door width at least, and you can also cut the track into any length to meet your need.

Q: What if the thickness of the door is not within the applicable range?
A: If the door is too thin, you need to replace shorter screws.
If the door is too thick, it is recommended to install a board with enough support on the wall. This will prevent the door from hitting the wall.
Also need to buy longer screws from the local hardware store.
Q: Can the track be cut?
A: On the premise of safety, the track can be cut.
Please pay attention to the position of the hole when cutting to avoid damaging the mounting structure.

This is a 6mm toughened glass door so is heavy but no problem for the Stainless Steel Sliding Barn Door Hardware Kit CCJH. Smooth glide and easy to install. Its been outside for 4months and no rust developing

This sliding barn door system is ideal for small places. It is one rail, two doors. We used 42" doors to cover the opening. Good quality and all features as promised in the description. Recomended.
I must say that I was a little bit nervous before installing this thinking that it was going to be complicated. Thankfully I was wrong it was super easy to put together and everything ended up aligned and perfect. Looks great at the same time.
I remodeled the walk-in closet by removing the door which was blocking access to cloth racks, removed the old rack hangers, fixed the wall, painted them and then build a new cabinet system with top lighting. I bought a couple different models of these rollers and decided to keep this particular one for the following reasons:
1. Can be made to fit the specific width of my barn door. Other models were based on a bigger wheel that could slide in and outward over a fixed rail. This model does not stick out further and I liked that (less of a trip hazzard)
2. Smaller wheel size looks better then some of the wheels of competitor products that had twice the wheel diameter.
3. It rolls smoothly and has held up for many weeks of usage by now.
I wish my barn door was just a few inches wider but I had limited space to work with. Overall I really like this roller and it is still going strong.
